Local Authority Governor
I grew up in Jersey in the Channel Islands going on to London to study for a degree in Chemistry at Imperial College, University of London. I moved to Kent to work at Pfizers in the Analytical Research department.
I have lived in Worth for around 40 years.
I have three children who all attended Worth Primary School and then went on to Sir Roger Manwood's and University. I started helping one morning a week at Worth Primary when the youngest started school in January 1988, to begin with I was working with the children on the computer which was a fairly new acquisition, a BBC B!
Now that the children are more familiar with computers I help in Class 1 with more or less anything. I enjoy working with the children and also accompanying them on school trips.
I was persuaded to join the governing body in 2002.
