Term 6
It was wonderful to welcome back the children today for our last two and a half weeks of term. We would like to thank you all for your ongoing co-operation and understanding last week. Thank you for engaging in remote/home learning and for supporting your child during this time. We have made the decision to reduce events outside of school between now and the end of term. Therefore, there will be no swimming and no after school clubs/tutoring up until the end of term. With a week out of school this has pushed back some of our term 6 plans. Our move up morning will now be on Wednesday 14th July. We will still be going ahead with our Fun Friday on Friday 16th July and this will be a non-uniform day. End of term reports have been slightly delayed as we have been unable to carry out our assessment week as planned. Teachers will be carrying out end of term assessments this week to support the end of term report that will be with you on Monday 19th July. We will be holding in school, end of term, celebrations. This includes saying goodbye to our wonderful year 6 children! Unfortunately, we are unable to go ahead with the end of year show and sports day events but we will make sure they have a great end to term 6. The last day of term is Wednesday 21st July and we will finish at 2.15pm. If your child does develop Covid symptoms, please do keep them off school and follow the guidance. This guidance was sent in our last newsletter on the 25th June.
End of term Wednesday 21st July
