We are a small village school located in the beautiful village of Worth, near Sandwich in Kent. Our school motto is 'lifelong learning' and we believe that with good quality teaching and care for each individual, every child can fulfil their full potential. The school has a traditional feel whilst keeping up to date and is at the heart of the local community.
We have a pupil admission number of ten per year. This means our children enjoy high adult to pupil ratios and small classes. Our Reception children are in a stand alone class whilst there are a further three mixed age classes. This works well and each child's individual need is catered for.
Our curriculum is creative and innovative. We teach through exciting topic based learning whilst ensuring the important key skills run through the curriculum. Our results are good and our pupils are very positive about their learning and achievement. Our children and their parents consistently tell us on surveys that the children enjoy school and their learning.
We ensure that children have the opportunity to take part in PESE selection if they so wish. We work closely with the local secondary schools to ensure that transition to the next step of their schooling is there for all children. We liaise closely with our local nursery and early years providers as well as our local secondary schools.
Our school has a family feel where we believe the children come first, and by providing the personal touch through effective communication, ensures your child has a positive primary school experience.
