Vice Chair of Governors
My name is Mick Brazier. I joined our governing body in November 2019. I have been lucky enough to be elected vice-chair of our Governing body. I have lived in the Dover area all my life. My background is in business having owned my own company for many years. I am now medically retired due to disability which means I have lots of time available to support our school in my role as a governor.
I have more than 15 years of experience as a school governor in Primary and Special Schools. I have previously had the opportunity to serve as a chair of governors. In my time as a governor I have had the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge about education and the way schools work, having gone through most situations than can arise within the school setting.
My areas of responsibility in our school include Safeguarding, Child Protection, PE and Sports Premium monitoring. I am really looking forward to working with my fellow governors and along with the staff, children and parents to give all our pupils the best opportunities possible.
