My name is Miglena Sellwood and my husband and I have been living in Worth for just over 10 years. Our two youngest children currently attend Busy Bees, the pre-school at Worth Village Hall.
My roots originate from Bulgaria where I grew up in a similar small village, which also has a wonderful little school just like Worth Primary. Having seen the importance of village schools first hand and now having children of my own, combined this made me want to become a school Governor.
I finished my higher education at the University of Economics (BA Business & Management) just before I moved to England. Since this time I have been helping my husband run a small marketing business based in Dover.
I hope my background and education will be useful in my new role as Governor at Worth Primary School.
